Hello any brewers in Wainuiomata? Ive had a growing interest in brewing beer for a couple of years really it started with a passion in baking bread over 10 years ago due to the quality of most bread in supermarkets. One of my goals is to someday produce Trappist Monastery Ales.

Gradually im working up to brewing fully with grains which is far more challenging than using a can of extract. Im also not a fan of hops and prefer to use alternatives as flavoring and to help prevent infections. Someday i'd like to try making Viking Beer which uses an ingredient which is next to impossible to find in NZ called Bog Myrtle.
